1 week down & 10 weeks to go

Sunday we left for Petrified Forest NP and Painted Desert, both in AZ and stopped in Albuquerque, NM.  On Monday we had to have some repair work done - Replacement of the inside water pump and the water heater thermostat.  We then headed to Carlsbad Caverns, NM and enjoyed the cave tour.  Tuesday we headed to Abilene, TX for the night and Wednesday made it to Plano, TX visiting family and having a wonderful time.  Today (Thursday) we took a tour of the Dallas Superdome and tonight will be going to the Texas Rangers minor league team "Frisco Rough Riders" baseball game.  We were told Josh Hamilton will be playing.  Tomorrow (Friday) heading to Jackson, MS to visit Guy's Aunt Ann, who just turned 97, and his cousin.

    I love Carlsbad Caverns! We went there when I was younger and I have nothing but epic memories. We visited on our way to visit Sherry, Christi and Aunt Carol and family too!!!
